Frequently Asked Questions....
3. What should we as Homeowners do prior to the project start date?
It is a good idea to provide sufficient access to all areas of your home that are being painted. For exterior painting projects please have your bushes and trees trimmed back to provide access to the home. On interior painting projects please remove all pictures from walls, window coverings, curtains, knick knacks, and any breakables in the rooms to be painted. We will gladly help to remove your curtains and your furniture, but if you could empty out entertainment centers, hutches and bookcases it will make moving the furniture a little easier. By providing clear access for our crews it will allow Stewart Painting, Inc. the ability to give you the best paint job possible.
4. What time of day will you start?
We start our morning at exactly 7:30 am and disperse to all painting projects from a central location. If your job is local we should generally be able to be at your home by 7:45 am. Our crew will take a lunch break at 11:00 am for a half hour and a 15 minute break at 2:00 pm. We work until 4:00 pm.
5. Does someone have to be during the painting process?
That is completely up to you as the homeowner. Stewart Painting, Inc. hires professional, responsible and courteous employees who are there to provide a service to you. We are also completely insured with Worker's Compensation Insurance in the event someone gets hurt on your property and a comprehensive Liability policy if something were to be damaged at your home. We don't plan on these things happening, but it is the law to protect your home and our employees.
6. What can I expect at the completion of the job in regards to clean up?
Leaving a jobsite clean is extremely important to us at Stewart Painting, Inc. We want your home to look brand new. All materials used during the job will be removed, flooring will be swept and vacuumed, furniture replaced where it belongs, trash and debris removed, etc. Our goal is to have you be a lifelong customer of Stewart Painting, Inc.
